MICHAEL WOLFE CROWNED ULTIMATE SCORING CHAMPION

Michael Wolfe managed to outlast a first-of-its-kind weeklong shootout to be crowned the Ultimate Scoring Champion at Taylor Lanes, the fifth stop on the Lumber Liquidators PBA Tour which was taped on Nov. 16 and aired on ESPN on Nov. 23.

In the midst of a glut of dismal economic forecasts, downtown Reno received some good news Friday with the announcement that the United States Bowling Congress will bring its open championship to Reno in 2011.

High school bowling arrived in Iowa and Newton in 2000. It has existed as a a oeclub sporta through the High School Bowling Federation, which was created by the Iowa Bowling Proprietora s Association.
